Miniature replicas on request

Well after having a bit of fun making a miniature replica of Moonbogg's Cobra Venom I've decided to do miniature replicas on request. These will mainly just for me to put up on the shelf.. But if someone who has created the cannon desperately wanted a replica of it..then it could be arranged.

Mainly making small functional models of larger (awesome cannons) on request.

If someone really wanted a small replica (of their own cannon) I would happily make one if:

a) Postage costs were supplied (and a bit extra..for the effort)
b) I didn't have to use large amounts/buy new materials to work with

If somebody turns out an excellent cannon (much, much above average) and the miniature replica was very small (did not use much in the way of materials) I would happily send it to them for the cost of postage and a bit extra for my trouble.

However, if it were plans of an unbuilt cannon, not the original creator of the cannon, someone I didn't like much or used more in the way of materials I'd ask for extra costs. However, they still wouldn't be that high.

I wouldn't supply things like piezo's, pumps etc.

Most of the replica's I do will be for me to keep and pop on the shelf..and I wouldn't build every cannon requested. Though if someone suggests something, and I like..then it will get done.

Any takers?

Edit: I much prefer combustion cannons to pneumatic ones, much easier to work with on this scale.

Hmm, I'll put it on the consideration list, it's probably the best spray @ prays I've ever seen.. Though I wouldn't be able to stop there. It would end up with spark strip, fan, metering, probably in a 1/2" chamber.

Would it be to send off? The postage from WA to America would not be cheap in any sense of the word, even for a smallish cannon with a 1/2" cannon.

I'll see how many other people chime in.. Something like the gauntlet or triple thunder would be a challenge to do accurately.

it does have a fan & meter now. stun guns are not allowed where i live so its just got a piezo sparker for now ..i followed lots of ideas from starman's triple thunder - removable fuel pod sorry i didnt get those pics in though..if you did reproduce it i would seriously concider the shipping/ other fees to get it here as long as its not confiscated in the mailing proscess

Yea.

If I made it and we sorted a way out for mailing (paypal is best guys) I'd have to do a lot of research to make sure customs wouldn't nick it.

Features like the fuel pod would be easy but it would be shipped without fuel or ignition source (spark strip etc would be installed).

We'll see how it pans out and if anyone else gets interested. If I decided to recreate yours it would be easy to paint, then recreate the skull on sticker paper.

We'll see.

Thanks for the inspiration.. Curses, yet another project. I'll build it myself.. later. Current project needs built first.

Not like it would be hard- the only obstacle would be a flippin fill valve.. Any ideas?

I'll build it. Miniature of the cannon, but made with polished brass. It would be a functional christamas tree ornimant. I already know how to do the fill valve. I'll draw it up later. I think you will like it. 1/2 inch chamber, 1/4 inch barrel.

Coax simply means the barrel goes through the chamber. It often implies a barrel sealer valve.

The Cellular core test cannon is a coax, but it is not a barrel sealer piston valve. It is a QDV. It is triggered with a pull rope on the main piston, not by a valve on a pilot.

It's humor, Tech, humor!

The funny part is generally no such thing as cellular-core brass. Get it? HA HA HA HA HA...

:flower: I got the humor.. I thought the question about QDV or Coax was real. Cellular core polished brass.. I'm still making it for the cannon. :flower: I'll let you know when it's finished! So far the bubbles is too big for the miniature cannon. :D

How about a miniature-fully functional- old shatterhand then...

I'd be very surprised...

If I had any I would have already made one myself ;)
