feathers wrote:i understand that the co2 in the bottle is 800 psi and when the gas is let out the liquid boils to fill the space but for the most part it stays around 800 psi, but i do know co2 tanks have a 3k burst disk and its not rare for them to burst out of no where, and hey i use a 200 dollar compressed air tank co2 would rip my guns to shreds its way too cold and unpredictable when the liquid gets into the gun it blows solenoids almost instantly and depending on the gun thats at least a 100$ fix
Alright then.

As a question on the burst disks, would you suspect that the disks are not calibrated perfectly, or does it get very hot where you are?

Leaving them in very hot places, like in a black car wouldn't help..It doesn't help either many CO2 tanks are painted black either

Well...pneumatics are usually only attempted by weirdos. Stick to the real thing, like hybrids.

We simply like getting a blow here and there, especially when it involves our very precious tubing.

Naw pneumatics is the higher class, the proper thing. It requires high amounts of exact measurements, and can be annoying as hell. The attractive part is, if you build a cannon you can make it shoot any gas at any pressure(within a certain maxium pressure, most pipe can take lots, if it is metal(which is the only proper material, plastic is for dildos no guns)). You have a far more complex process going on, with lots of possibilities. Some love it some dont, that is fine with me. but those that love it are right :D.

Now a few small suggestions; This forum is very helpful, you don't know what an unfriendly forum is, seeing as how it was just closed down, so be thankful. We have a wiki, read it, understand it, feel free to pm me, or any other member that has been here a while and knows his shit(it is quickly evident, there is people for day to day stuff and then there is people for all sorts of wierd crap, ragnarok, who can't spell(yup, im gonna bring that up over and over again, its ragnarök) for example) if you have difficulties to understand.
I have seen forums that will refuse to help any member until the member has proven worth of doing so(some require a minium of 10posts before you can make a topic, 70% of members on that forum got banned before they reached 5posts, i think it was 10, jrrdw correct me if ia am wrong). Give us something, before asking all this help. Now good luck, enjoy the forum and the art!

I, as well as the rest of us i'm sure, are hoping that this secret doesn't get out. Try not to be so obvious with the joking on the matter.

Woke up to a golfball shattering the window next to me, I got cut pretty bad in my escape on the broken glass, but I just patched those up with the PVC glue, I made sure to sand and prime first. I'm heading south now...

Reminds me of a crazy daydream I had involving factions of ...well...spudders,
and "survival of the fittest" designs.
(without breaking the rules)...
I imagined if man did evolve from primitive primates
(completely fictional IMO but interesting)...
He would have evolved by milleniums of hunting/ being hunted..by most importantly his own kind.

(Hey,after all, God did give me a mind capable to daydream imaginative nonsense)... :P 8)
BTW, I was thinking besides suited for swimming, the human form is well adapted for weightlessness geometrically.
Especially compared to four legged creatures etc.
But we do start out aquatic, then become airbreathers on our own, toddlers are four legged...and then two legged...
Belongs on http://www.theopia.com at this point! :D 8)

well heres a pic of what my cannon will look like here its just layed together i need to drill and tap my pvc and use a deadhead to see what my reg is at
Image

im thinking of switching from steel braided hose to paintball macroline cause its more flexible and i have 20 feet of it, but the elbows are more expensive i got the braided hose ones for free from the broken guns at my work
