hmm start at 50 and go up. i ususally fire mine at 120-150

If you have ANY DWV parts don't go past 50. If you have all pressure rated fitting you can go, maybe 120 max.

Errr... the initial question doesn't quite make sence. What do you want to know the pressue for:
1) Highest safe pressure?
2) Pressure at which it'll make no noise?
...so, yeah, what did you have in mind?

the PVc is rated to 220 PSi and the valve probably 150 PSI so you can very safely take it to 150 PSI because parts have a large saftey margin

DWV stand for drain waste vent it is not pressure rated. look for NSF-PW on all of your pipes. that means its pressure rated

Thats about as simple as it gets, the cannon design i mean, but i think i've seen that pic in other post. Did you copy this 1 from another forum? Just wondering.

i take dwv to 100 psi, as holy **** its still going, said they have a huge safty margain.

Errr... the initial question doesn't quite make sence. What do you want to know the pressue for:
1) Highest safe pressure?
2) Pressure at which it'll make no noise?
...so, yeah, what did you have in mind?

I did the plan by myself. But, the design is VERY simple so I am not the first person who made this kind of cannon.

Tu quois que <i>ton</i> anglais est petit ou mauvais? J'ai suive francais 3 ans, et ce est pres de mon plus bon... et ma classe n'a pas etudie les chose des machines.

^The above statment is a poorly written "my french is worse than your english" statment, for those that don't speak french.

Anyway, your english is easily understood and acctualy better than that of some native speakers... never mind comparing it to my french.

As to your question, the valve is rated to a few hundred PSI - like 300-500 - and the chamber is rated to 220. If I remember correctly, threaded fittings are rated to 1/2 of the pipe rating, so the 2" threads are rated to 160 psi...
"Safe use" is a sketchy subject, but I'd keep it under 150.

Ok then if I stick all my air chamber PVC part together, and I put nail to secure it like on my drawing, I can put it under 120 psi without any danger ?

If you do not know how to compress air in the chamber, or stick pices of pvc togther, i suggest you do a little research before you try to do anything.
