Indeed. You don't poke the bear unless you're prepared for the bear to take a bite out of your arse.

Nah, let them sleep with the fishes* since they like them so much

They have explosive harpoon guns, frankly I think they don't really need our help
* yes yes, I know whales are technically mammals

I wonder what ammo they were attempting to shoot at a vessel the size of the ship they were trying to "intercept"...taters, tee shirts, tennis balls, ...
They honestly thought they were James Bond in that batman boat.

It is (was?)
an awesome boat, shame it got into hippy hands.

Making comments like that, no wonder you surround yourself with high pressure pneumatics - it's for bloody self defence
I don't mind whales, it's the hippies I object to.

are they, technically, still hippies if they use guns ?
look, they get on a cool boat to lob smelly projectiles on the deck of a large vessel... even if they are hippies their actions show promise

Personally I'm inclined tothink that their actions just show how stupider they're getting...
Trying to take on a steel whaler in a carbon fiber speedboat...
Bloody idiots

They're led by a
prizewinning wanker, sorry but I can't reconcile with that
