It was my thread that Gun Freak posted on. I just grabbed the spring with needle nose pliers and then used a screw driver and a hammer to knock the little thing out. Mine didn't unscrew either. hope this helps :)

That little check valve thing is very big on yours JSR. Mine was a tiny little cup sort of thing :?

I don't know if this counts as a double post but...
I'm looking for a pilot valve for a co-axial rocket launcher and was wondering if this one would pilot a 45g piston?

Wrong parameter ;)

How big is the pilot volume, what diameter is the piston and more importantly, how good is the fit of the piston in the tube its travelling in?

Diameter- 52mm
Pilot volume- I don't know, it's 70x53 cylinder and on a calculator it came up 148660??? :?
Which leaves a gap of 0.5mm around the piston

More precisely, 0.825cm2 of area for air to flow from the main chamber to the pilot.

That's more than can flow through a 1cm diameter tube.

Short answer - no.

If I reduce the pilot volume it should work, right?

Need a tighter piston.

Can be solved with an o-ring or insulating tape  so the pilot volume's ok?
