I wan't to cancel my order from Joel because Sgort and Mr. Plow on the SpudTech forums say it will take a long time before my order is shipped.

I wouldn't cancel my order, but Joel wont contact me, and he never picks up his phone or checks his e-mails.

Does anyone know how I can cancel my order with Joel, because this is really making me mad!

This is my first Pneumatic and he's taking weeks and weeks just to ship a freaking sprinkler valve, that all he has to do is buy at his local hardware store and ship it

Well if all he has to do is buy it at a hardware store and ship it,why dont you do that? Not trying to burn you but why bother buying it from joel if you can get it from any hardware store for about 1/2 the price. And he has a business to run and from the sound of it he isnt running it very well at all.

No he's not.... I can't buy it because my hardware stores don't sell any Sprinkler valves, yet the kind that I want \ need.

I'm going to order one from BCpneumatics.com, but I need to cancel my order from Joel, but he is running he business VERY poorly and I can't even contact him, no wonder people say he's going out of business, I think he deserves to.

I like Joel and I have no problem with him, I just don't like how he's running his business so far, this is my first order and he's being a very bad seller.

I already bought the Blowgun, Hose, Barbed adapters, and made my whole gun, all I'm waiting on is the Sprinkler valve I ordered from him...

jrrdw I have no problem waiting 4-6 weeks, but forum mods on the SpudTech forums (Sgort) said it would probably take 4-6 MONTHS!

I'll wait a few more weeks I guess because the main reason I ordered from Joel was to give him some business because I liked him, I could have easily special ordered one at Home-Depot, and for cheaper.

Not to sound like a dick, but why didn't you listen to DR on Spudtech? He told you to look at the Customer Service page and call Joel.

I'm sorry that Joel is busy and cannot get you the order. He's not a "bad seller" as you say. Joel is extremely busy and is in a very tight spot. He cannot get to yours sooner because he literally has hundreds, if not, thousands of other orders to do first. His priorities are set to those who ordered first, as it should be.

I doubt 4-6 months, I believe that they probally said that because there was a recent incident where someones supah valve took quite a while to arrive.

With your valve there isn't much work required, he probally has them pre-made on a shelf so I say give it a few more weeks. If you wait the 4-6 weeks and you still don't have anything I can get ahold of him if you really need me to.
no wonder people say he's going out of business, I think he deserves to.
Emm he's far from going out of business... trust me i've seen the private orders page before, within a little over 24 hours there were like 4 propane meter orders, a handfull of cannons, maybe half a dozen smaller accessories, and 1 govt order for the smaller mega-launcher.

Plus he has a family to take care of. Don't complain if you order something and he says it may take 4-6 weeks and it takes that long. No business is perfect and that's why only a few people have come and complained. If you want to see bad then a site that sells turbo kits for my car is what your looking for, 20 or so people ordered and he's only got a few pieces of things out to some people over the past year.
he's got no competition. someone needs to open up another spudgun bussniss.
I've always considered... SpudFiles would be perfect.

I just have a small patience sometimes, thankyou PCGUY

It's very ironic, but Joel just called me as I was reading you post....

First on Spudtech.com I was just trying to see how long it would take to ship my order because it said 10-14 days on the first screen and after you order it says 4-6 weeks....

Then Sgort said that it took about 4-6 months for him, I didn't mean this to escalate into a giant thing, but when I started trying to contact Joel he wasn't picking up the phone or e-mailing me back so I started to jump to conclusions.

I take everything back if that is possible for what I said about Joel and his business, he called me and was very nice about it so I'm fine now...

lol, Gorts order was just shy of 6 months and to my knowledge there wasnt a supah included.

As you have pointed out, talk about a back hand from the iron fist.

How did you formulate a figure or did you pull that out of your ass? :P

:D lol

Joel said that Gorts order took so long because he kept changing the contents.

Or on the top of the main forum
"Moderators: spudshot, BC Pneumatics, pimpmann22, boilingleadbath, sgort87"
