CO2 powered cloud strafer / regulators

I am planning to build a portable cloud bbmg. I have already made the gun itself, and am planning on making a pvc backpack. The backpack gets pressurized to ~100PSI and then connected to the gun. simple but it should work. I was thinking tho, what if you attached a co2 to the backpack with a pressure regulator. then you would be able to fill it quickly and easily. the only reason why i wouldnt attach it straight to the gun is that i want the co2 to have time to warm up and expand. If it would work, what kind of regulator should i use? ive searched around and have no idea what im looking for. Suggestions/ideas would be great

you can get compressor regulators for only 13 bucks australian.

Could a compressor regulator handle the really high pressure of a 20oz CO2? I mean they're at sumthing like 2000psi arent they?

You guys are fuckheads! This is the last time I want to correct something like this!
Liquidized CO2 pressure cannot be held back by a standard air regulator. You need a CO2 regulator capable of handling thousands of psi.
The regulators for this are the ones made for paintball. Look around for one that has NPT threads on it so it is compatable with standard plumbing parts.

gort, what kind of paintball regulator could i get (any names or brands)? And do they lower the pressure enough for pvc to handle it?

Sorry I went off on you, but if he had a standard air regulator on his launcher and screwed a CO2 tank on it then the reg would blow and the tank would proceed to dump into the gun and violently rupture the chamber.
As for the regulator you need, look around for paintball PRESSURE regulators. (Not flow regs.) I'll keep an eye out for the regulator I saw a couple months ago but am not sure if I can find it. It's around $70-80 just to warn you.

hey thanks alot, gort, i found what i was lookin for but it was about $100. Ill keep lookin for somthing cheaper but who knows. I'll post pics if I make it.
