A couple days ago I was walking home and I found a piece of pipe. Yes. It's 8" pressure rated SCH 40 PVC. It's like 15 feet long and holy crap it's like more than half an inch thick. I'm gonna ask the construction guys workin there if I can have it. Don't have any idea on how to get it home....
Just giving everyone a heads up for some HUGE pneumatic since I don't make combustions.

yeah 8 inch fittings cant exactly be found anywhere so you would probably have to order them from somewhere. price of huge fittings + price of shipping something that heavy = verry expensive. man that would be one awesome cannon though.

holy crap an 8 in tee is 80 dollars!!!!!!! the price of just one 8 inch tee and one 8 inch coupler is more than enough to buy a supah valve and thats not even including shipping.

All you need is a 8" coupler, which ends up costing some 55$ or so with shipping.

And some cement intended for large diameters; your generic light-duty stuff won't cut it.

Venting wouldn't be done with the generic "open the back" meathod, though. I'd try getting some flexable drier-vent air-conduit and putting a fan at the end.

Dued, you would need 57in of 3/4" pipe for propane injection LOL. That thing would be a beast. I wonder what would happen to a paintball??

These 8"ers are fun man. There are a bunch of neat things you can launch like: soccer balls, video cameras, foam balls, playground balls, and my favotite - human heads!

I found an 8" cap while in KY and bought it for like $8 or something. Maybe less. I have one of these 8"ers on the way!

you could use it for a pneumatic, on my tennis ball cannon, i couldent find reducers, so, the chamber was just some 2.5 inch pipe, 2 endcaps, and i tapped a 1 inch nipple, into one of the endcaps.

It would be fun to make a cannon that big,but I would rather make it out of steel.
