RealTek drivers are good, I use them on my other computer. It's more likely then not the onboard microphone. Does your computer have a mic jack? If so get a better mic and try it.
I jumped the gun in my earlier post, I should have blamed the mic before the soundcard, completely forgot because I have a decent mic but a crappy soundcard so have had similar issues to Saefroch in the past, before I used the tone port.

Saefroch, try using a better mic and if you get the same problems then we can blame the soundcard :D

Not offended...
Just amazed anyone could really like that early version for the music..

?

This newer version has a lot of sounds I really like.
I left the gap in the intro intentionally as well as some other mistakes to make it more authentic.
I mean..
I could have hidden my mistakes quite easily and pretend I never make 'em..

Thanks anyway..

I'd be so proud of the first vid using my song!!

I'm gonna listen to it some more...

Seconded. I could do the same. Though the utility of two pianists recording separately... meh.

hehe, 1812 Overture Spudfiles style !

Just the other day I was thinking of linking up the pilot solenoid valves of my spudguns connected to a micro controller for rythmic firing :)
