I just ordered another qev and i am going to build a 1/2'' shotgun I plan on using a 1/2 in piece of copper for the barrel. Can anyone recommend some good ammo? I want to order on ebay or from somewhere in the us.

Jsefcik is right though. Anything that fits is ammo as long as it's an inanimate object. I filled pieces of PVC pipe with sand and taped the ends shut and shot those. They "exploded" on impact sending sand everywhere. It's a pretty cool effect. Creativity is key here.

I'd recommend either find a consistent pre-made ammunition (Paintballs, ball-bearings, darts, etc...) or make a bunch of easily reproducible sabots and go with the common convention, anything that fits

attach a bottle to the end of the barrel, pretend it's a rifle grenade, I oftem use homemade darts in calibers around 1/2"

I like to stuff a paper towel in the barrel, then I dump in some ashes from our fire pit or our grill, then finally seal it off with another paper towel. It replicates an old fashioned black-powder cannon quite nicely.

P.S. It will fill most of my backyard with "smoke" so eye protection is required.
