Cone Force

This is hard to put into words. Say a flat surface of 1 square inch were exposed to 100 PSI, there would be 100 punds of force pushing on it, meaning you would have to push with 100 pounds in the opposite direction to move it. If a cone or rounded shape were added to the flat piece would this lower the force applied to the surface?

it doesn't really matter because even though there is more surface area for the pressure to push on, its not in the right direction, and it ends up going it that direction with the same force as it would if it was flat, that's y one of my own perpetual motion theories wound not work

SO adding a cone would be pointless, hmm, do you know of any other way besides springs to help compensate for the force?

A cone would add more surface are and if towards the barrel wouldn't seal, and what are you talking about? Equal pressure= no move...

100 psi wold not push 100 psi... it would take 100.0000000000000000001 psi

Adding a cone or sphere will not decrease the force, but it it WILL add strength to the resistance of being affected by the force.

I obviously knew you would need more than 100 lbs of force. So changing the shape would have no effect on the force applied by the air.
