HOLY GOD! what is that pipe used for? It makes me want to make a 600mm gun with a HUGE barrel sealing valve in a tee. WOW Imagine how far that would shoot. Someone GGDT it.

Have you ever seen a water main. tha is the same stuff as is under most streets. Well at least in california becaude codes don't allow metal due to the risk of cracking in an earthquake. if you thought that pipe is impressive the mains going down the main road are 30" sch 80 pvc. you should see the fittings. they arive 1 to a pallet and take a forklift/crane to move and assemble.

wouldnt pvc be more likely to crack then metal?or is it coz pvc is more flexable?

well I think they use pvc caus its cheap to replace.

yeah but if its weaker....they have to buy more which will end up the same cost as metal, and if it breaks easier they have to replace it more often which means they have to dig the roads up,get cranes etc

imagine, a 24 inch, 20 foot long coaxial pneumatic, with a 50 or 60 foot 4 inch or 6 inch, heck, maby even 8 inch barrel. pumpkins and watermelons could be used, along with basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, that would be fun.
