Ok I wanted to make a more powerful bb gun but I don’t want to be restricted by an air compressor... so would the idea of using like propane instead of air work you think? Ide make it look rater decent also not some piece of $shit just thrown together. Also about how much psi would 2"x12" PVC combustion produce like 60 psi I think?

Thanx,

OK, um walsh, I can't understand what you are saying. Insight is good, but not if it is unintelligible. >>>>Dont you like that word?

Annnnny way, I think that it sounds worth trying, but what dia is the bb?
It should have a fair amount of power, if its like a .177 caliber, and airsoft should be pretty good. I would consider using a portable compressed air tank instead of combustion, and carry around a spare.

What bb gun do you want it to be more powerful than?

Getting the mix right could be a challenge in a sensibly sized chamber.

I'd make a pneumatic using a small QEV, and a bike pump - it would be more reliable and rather easier.

Yeah, pneumatic makes so much more sense. Although, killagorilla, you can't beat that satisfaction of a combustion.

1.don't call it a "cumbustion"...please don't.
2.you can put a silencer on a pneumatic that works....
3.you can attach a small bike pump to pump up the chamber as the chamber wouldn't be massive and shouldnt take long with a pump.

get rid of the / before the writing. It should look like this
(except without the space after the e on quote). the one after all the writing stays the way it is.

huh? "the satisfaction of a combustion" is no different than that of a pneumatic. I mean, they are not better, or more difficult to build, or more powerful. that is a personal opinion. I, myself, like pneumatics better. more powerful, and more of a challenge to build.(depends on what kind of valve, etc)

somthing like killa's or mine will kick a combustion bb gun's butt any day

here's mine

A pneumatic can beat a similarly sized and properly built combustion (I'm not talking about one with a ridiculous C:B ratio) for sheer noise any day.

A small bore copper piston cannon will create a very solid "bang" - comparable to combustions several times it's size.
