well i'm not sure if everyone calls them "electrodes" but i do so the two screws you put in on a combustion or hybrid cannon for the spark, do you every need to clean yours? i noticed that mine became insilated and when i claened them off (buncha white hard rustlike material that came off) they worked fine again and the spark was fylin again. mabey it's my fuel or does this happen to other people too? :?

Yeah most people call them electrodes and if you use aerosol for fuel the white stuff is just built up layers of that.

Yeah, I clean mine, What I do is get some 80grit sandpaper and glue it to a stick and shove it in my chamber and sand down the electrodes.

Spray stuff builds up in the chamber/electrodes of my gun before I went to Mapp. One time I thought my spark was getting weak, as it was the spark was grounding along the slime build up. I used a brush and hot soapy water. Spark was restored.Than cleaned the electrodes too.

Mr crowley has the best cleaning method for gummed up electrodes, if theres hard rust like stuff sandpapaer is best, if the build up is sort of mushy just rinse out your chamber. Personally i use brad nails as they do not have the hard to clean threads that screws do :D

i found that it was easier to clean them with one of those spark plug cleaners, gets pretty much all the grim off them, they have a handle on them so you don't have to glue anything
