Yes this would work ! But... If you`re planning to build a Spudgun, for what (the hell) do you need a bullet casing?!

I see your design judment arms and it works, but wouldn't it be easier to just have 2 spring loaded extractors on the sides of the bolt alittle on the oposite side of the ejection port or 1 spring loaded extractor oposite to the ejection port

That design was for a top eject, with a clip at the bottom as the bolt flies back the next round in the chamber forces the previous round out of the way. It has a few flaws that need to be worked out: one, if the magazine spring is strong enough to “throw” the old round out, then the magazine my just unload it self…fixed it! Have a ridge at the back of the magazine that holds the rounds in but forces the tip of the round up to throw out the spent brass.
Oh and if I understand you right just having one ejector would pull out the spent brass and throw it out of the way…plus it’s sounds a little simpler to…

I'll e-mail you a gif that shows a top bullet ejection method.

there we go.... the image is scrunched because, well read the above post.

it's even harder than it was to understand now that it's scrunced...too bad I don't feel like explaining it right now.

Ohh, I sent it to the e-mail under your post. I'll send it to that address once I get on my home computer.

Your diagram confused me, in the lower receiver pic, which I assume is a side view, the orange diagonal line above the magazine, is that your ejector? If so how does the next round get through it?
As for the rest of it, I like the simplicity of the extractors, scissor like, grabbing the Schrader valve to pull out the spent case. I’m tired, and not thinking clearly I’ll take another look at it tomorrow right now I don’t understand much about it… does it fire from an open or a closed bolt? Is it semi/full automatic, or bolt action? Oh and to get the full sized image on try converting it to .jpg or .gif.
Good *yawns* night…

do you think I can make the carterages out of sch 40 3/4" pipe? it says the max psi is 480.

Some people have made hybrids out of all sch 40 but I would use sch 80.

Yes, if you use a low enough mix. It’s still pressure, it’s just one second its 20psi than its 200psi…ok that’s a big increase… but I don’t see why it would blow, it’s a smaller volume than most other pressure/combustion chambers on most hybrids with close to, if not equal, pressure rating.
By the why, you are quite welcome. It’s nice to talk to somebody with a brain, and knows how to use it. (That’s a complement.) Most of my friends get lost after “hybrid”… but anyway, I need to thank you, you helped me come up with my automatic cannon, which won’t be built for some time do to the fact that I now have no place to shoot it. (I hate subdivisions, cursed thing keep popping up all over the place. What was open field, which was the place I shoot, four years ago is now a subdivision.) Well I guess I’ll wait till I get that picture and description before I say any thing else.
