Did you ask PC or any other moderators if the posting of this link was alright? As I do not believe you have, I would ask that you would ask for approval. Have respect for PCGUY, and his site SpudFiles. Do not whore off it to get traffic to a site of your choice. I'm feeling kind of disrespectful today, so here we go:

Pimp, sorry, but these things are just a damn pyramid scheme (or a variant of one). Yes you can eventually get a free iPod but it's a horrible scheme/organization and it results in *$hitloads* of junkmail/spam. I really wish pyramid schemes were illegal.

Ok, you took that wrong. I was illustrating that it was disrespectful in nature, and just to top it off the end was accompanied by a prize. I am in no way endorsing, or even like the all to familiar iPod scams. Rather trying to express a point, who are you to intentionally direct traffic away from SpudFiles with out even asking? And if that does not do it, I will entice you with some green. While one might have the best or worst of intentions, whoring traffic without first requesting is in itself disrespectful. That would be like staking a "Free Ipods" sign in my front yard without my permission.

Really sorry pimp, But I was just trying to get my small forum off the ground... In what way could that harm spudfiles? Spudfiles has thousands of members, My forum has what, 14? I just wanted more members so we could discuss things.

Alright, and the need for another forum is...? Well in diverting traffic to your site you would be effectively curving the time spent on SpudFiles. Why is that bad? Kyle for his own intentions, and the hosting of this site earns USD's off of the ads which he is not going to get if users toodle on over to your site. Also this traffic belongs to SpudFiles, and such can be distributed at its digression. You making no previous request are effectively eliminating that free will given, and rightfully acclaimed to SpudFiles.

Although in this particular instance there is not some binding commitment other then that of being courteous, to not advertise, or endorse any external site that is not affiliated with that of SpudFiles, or reaching its objective. As you notice I am not pinning you against the wall with a rule, rather asking why it is you choose to whore traffic off of SpudFiles.

What if we added say a link to here in the site for here because that is a small site and no matter what search you use this site is ALLWAYS on the first page. Be a bit lenient pimpman he's only trying to match up to great sites.

SpudFiles first page placement is a result of the sole effort exerted by Kyle, and it's members. Years in the working to get the placement. Also you will have a great site when you provide 'great' content, not whore traffic.

I've never even proposed that Kyle would not be willing to allow you to post the discussed link. I am saying how overly assumptious you are in your ignorant self consciousness. Kyle may in fact not have the faintest of problems by you posting the link, but not asking disrespectful.

Lets admit, this is a obvious attempt to diverse the traffic to your site, and your enticing the move with the possible resultant of a 50$ prize.

Meanwhile has anyone asked Kyle?

#1 reason is because SpudFiles is having it's own contest. Not many know about it, I have been gathering funds for a while now. I <b>just now</b> (literally, today) received the funds to do this contest.

#2 is because I don't take kindly to blaient (sp?) advertising of a forum in direct competition to this one. If the forum was about professional farting it would be different, it's just a copy of SpudFiles.

I have seen dozens of copies of SpudFiles made then advertised here. What I must ask is, how stupid are you? If you want to make a forum, do it about a different topic.
