this is a recent 25 psi shot using a ball bearing at 100' with the swat gun.
the intercooler is about 3.5 inches thick, and is very densely packed.
the aluminum is equivalent to over an inch thick piece of aluminum.
compared to a blue propane tank
compared to my hand (I'm 5' 10" tall, 175 pounds)
exit hole

How can that be compared to the same strength as a soild piece of aluminum?

well, I dont mean the strength. I mean the aluminum, If flattened, would be a little over an inch thick.
the penetration is still quite good, considering the distance, pressure, and the thickness of the target.
you cant hardly put a sharpened metal pole through one of these, even when you pound it with a sledgehammer.
I mean, it was a hundred feet away.

yes, you can bent the first layer, or outer edges.goathunter wrote:I agree with Showno Mercy. You can crush it with your thumb.I used to get in trouble as a kid for crushing the vanes.
try hitting it with a hammer, it wont do anywhere near that.
the aluminum builds up, and gets proportionatly harder to compress, so by half way through, it's like a block of compacted aluminum.

If your getting chased off a police dog, try not to run through a tunnel then onto a small see-saw then through a ring of fire. They are trained for that!
