cut a big long slit at least 2'' down one side of the tennis ball and fill it with airsoft pellets or buckshot which ever works. fill it and tape it up with scotch or masking or another weak tape. oh and will a beer can fit in to a 2.5'' barrel. ???

Yeah that would work well! You could also use lead shot sinkes they act as pritty good shot for a home made shot gun!

You need a smaller chamber! the smaller it is the more copression the better the force. Simple suck squezse bang blow.
try like a 1.5 ltr chamber and they dont take to much to fill like a 2 second squirt fom an arosole can. You still didnt tell me what your using for fuel?

Bubba? who hell do you think you telling people false information!
On that setup a smaller chamber would give him power but not that efficient, he should keep the chamber the same size and get a longer barrel for more power.

And bubba by your methods of thinking a mini should shoot a mile and my overunder should barely tear through cardboard.

on a pneumatic, a smaller chamber is bad, unless you hate pumping.

Rayman what valve are you using?
And I suggest you make your barrel longer.

Im using a orbit watermaster sprinkler valve but it is leaking, I was told it might need to equalize, but I put a ball valve infront of it, and in back of it, all it did was make a loud farting noise as the air rished through the diaphram....

I would put it behind it.

did you close the valve and then pump?

yes I did, and when it was at about 40 psi I opened the valve, it just rushed through the sprinkler valve
im thinking of goin to the hardware store today and starting from scratch and just making this http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/joels-t ... t1965.html
simple enough
I just hope the next sprinkler valve I get works...

I'm pretty sure they do. A while ago, I think in the video link thread, there was a video of a bunch of things filmed be a high speed camera being shot with beer cans. That was a fun video. I'll see if I can find it.
