rifled pellet barrel

I'm trying to find a rifled barrel for .22 pellets. I've googled and searched ebay but I can't seem to find one. If I can't find one I'll try rifling it myself (thanks to rna_duelers) but I have this horrible feeling that it's not going to work out like I want with such a small barrel.

I also wonder how much a rifled barrel would affect the accuracy lets say 30 meters away. It needs to be as accurate as possible for target shooting.

Diablo shaped 0.22 pellets will fly fairly straight, even when fired from an unrifled barrel, due to their "shuttlecock" shape, so even a smoothbore 5-6mm barrel should suit you fine.

still, that's top of the range, I assume you want something a little less pricey, like for example you can get the barrel of the crosman 2260 (part BRL088 / 2260-003) for just 24.50 sterling.

This is in the UK, I'm sure there's an airgun spares dealer somewhere closer to you - if nothing else, find a clapped out crosman plinker on e-bay and cannibalise it for spares, if anything you'll get a stock, trigger, sights etc. into the bargain :)

Are the barrels to all BB pellet guns removeable?

Try part 50415K214 from McMaster. It's not rifled of course but it should fit .177 pellets perfectly.

EDIT: I just got a possibly great idea for making a rifled barrel:
What if you take a really thin-walled tube that fits the pellet tightly and saw down it lengthwise (like cutting a hot-dog roll) while slowly rotating the saw along the center of the tube all the way until an inch from the end, to create a barrel with spiralled slits. Do this three times to create six equadistant slits. Then epoxy this tube inside one that fits it tightly. Make sure the inch that's not slit is at the breech end.

I hope that was understandable. Input please!
