Butane? Can I use it?

I would like to start by thanking the person who wrote the tutorial on the stun gun igniter. My cannon is 500% more kick ass because of it! THANKS!

Here is a pic...

I don't shoot tater's. I find full pepsi cans less messy. I work for a vending place too so I have a regular supply of out dated full cans.

Can I use butane? I took apart a portable gas stove and have a delivery method (kind of), but I dont want to get to hooking it up if...
1. It wont fire
2. will blow my arms off
3. burn my internal fan up.

I would like to covert to some kind of gas so I dont have the hairspray mess and I can stop dicking with the cleanout on the chamber.

Here are also some pics of the kind of butane setup I am working with and I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on hooking it up.

Thanks everyone!

1) Yes, butane is quite flamabel. Will this butane system involve someway to meter out the correct dosage?
2) No, it won't blow your arms off... especialy if your cannon is properly constructed. (pressure rated fittings, pressure rated pipe, and most importantly: no cleanout plugs)
3 No, it should be fan safe.

Caleb go to burntlatke.com he did some testing on fuel ratios check it out but for butane I think it was 5 or 6 %

Beebs ive used cleanout plugs also, they will work but there not pressure rated. Its just a safety precaution not to use them because since there the weakest part of the gun they can shoot off (done it several times)
