Is it just me or was it pretty funny readin the report?

I doubt that if someone took an aluminium bat to someones head they would stay human looking, yet alone alive. But a potatoe to the face would hurt you like hell.

I think the cops should have looked into the case as a shooting not a beating, as

Another theory is that the guy tryed to hit the potatoe that a friend of the guy shot at him from a cannon. the potatoe hit him in the noggin' and the bat was broken before anyway, and the guys mate ran off

I blame schmanman and his swat gun for playing extreme baseball.....

I've had several experiences with hiting hard objects with aluminum bats and they can crack. It really isn't that easy tho. My opinion is that if the bat was the case they would have found little pieces of brains scaterd everywere, not pototos.

Baseball bat target practice..

I played baseball for 4 years, I saw a aluminum bat break once, and even then the bat was severely over used past its lifetime.

What I'm really suprised at is the fact that all this went on in Hannahan.This is the sort of thing that goes on in N.Charleston.Granted, Hannahan still has its fair share of murders.Well I guess when North Charleston has low income slums and real guns,that leaves Hannahan with slightly higher income housing and slightly less deadly implements

Im glad there was nothing in that article that suggests plans to ban spud guns. Happens in every news article about spud guns.
