I've been searching for a while now to try and find any type of ideas for a breech loading co-axial but could not find anything, so, I decided to design my own. It seems like it would work. If anyone notices any flaws, please let me know.[img]

This is rather interesting mate. Ive been trying to think of breech methods on coaxials myself but this is better then what Ive come up with so far. But a better explanation would be good.

To operate, twist the barrel portion and pull forward to unlock it from the back. Slide the ammo into the barrel, then pull the barrel portion back and lock in place. Charge the cannon and fire.

That "working model" is in progress and will be posted as soon as it is working. I figured I would go ahead and post this idea for others to use and/or improve on.

That design looks very good, but the main problem is going to be building it
I have a much simpler design that works, but I like your intricaty and detailed design a lot. I will post mine up later if you want me to.
Good work though, Im looking foward to seeing it.

You do know that your going to need a LOT of force to hold that closed. All the gas inside is going to be wanting to push it open. You are going to need a hardcore locking mechanism to hold it closed.

)Demon(: Yeah, I know that it will need lots of force to hold. I was just trying to get a starting point for myself and others, as there is always room for improvement. I was also trying to get other person's heads thinking about this, since I haven't seen one yet. (I did see something along the lines of a breech loading co-axial on this sight, however, I play paintball and was looking for something that would accept my sabots).

spud yeti: I also took note that it would kind of difficult to build but, with a little imagination, it is very possible. Oh, and, please do post your design. That is one of the main reasons this got posted.
