I just don't like it when someone elses cheat makes life cost me more! Thats not fair to me, i don't do anything that makes life cost him more, so why should i sit by and be subject to someone elses cheaten ways? Why should anybody else for that matter. Like i said, don't let me catch you/anybody shoplifting, i'll see that you go down for it!

No brag, just fact!

As it wasn't, that leaves a much stickier mess. Honestly, if I wanted to get someone in some mess, I would go for credible "wrongdoing", not spamming.
I was pointing out the times at which he posted, when he claimed that he was gone for "15 minutes." What "the roomate" posted happened of the course of a little less than an hour, four times the amount of time he claimed to be gone.

Unless you want to go to wherever the hell he and his "roommate" live and testify that he said he stole then I suggest you give it up. Who knows maybe he stole some lousy parts and the cannon will blow up and when being investigated it shall be found to be made out of stolen parts by the police. Who knows? But no one here is going to make him feel sorry for his actions and I doubt that some online words will change his future actions if he is indeed a thief. Although he does seem to be a fag.... Oh well, label him a thief and carry on.

hes right,
you guys are making too much of a problem for this. Its almost like a reality-soap on television with people fighting about almost nothing.
Okay, hes a thief.
And thats it.
He's just a thief and I propose to stop useless talking about it.
We made our point clear that we dont like thieves and that he shouldnt have done it.
Ok?

I agree with ragnarok to an extent, but I think the evidence against him probably out weighs his case at the moment.

I don't think I have ever stolen from a hardware store (unless you count buying a foot of 2" steel for $0.50 stealing:), but I tend to snag fittings that are just laying around (from where I worked, for example).
However, I do this knowing that what I'm taking will probably otherwise sit and rust for years, before someone finds it and throws it in a box with a bunch of other crap.

Take for example, this gun. Technically, I "stole" all the major parts, but I don't think anyone will have the slightest idea they are gone, or that they even existed in the first place.

Basically, "scavanging" is fine, but taking stuff from someone who makes a living from it isn't.

That being said, I think everyone here is still being kind of harsh... I mean, you don't get sentenced to death for stealing ~$100 worth of fittings. The judge would probably look at you and say "WTF did you steal pvc pipe, of all things?!

@HaiThar: And you keep perfect track of exactly how long you were out, and then take trouble to give that exact figure?
I think not - and it was only 45 minutes, not an hour.
Everyone goes out thinking "I'll just be x amount of time", then takes several times that.

And seriously, how brain dead would you have to be to openly say: "Yey, stealing is good!"

I think the story is more credible than most people think. It's odd and a little improbable, but my more indepth probing of the text shows some interesting differences between the writing style. Not so different that it couldn't be the same person, but different enough that you can't be sure that it is.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

I have to say, I agree with everything Ragnarok has said thus far. He and shownomercy are the only ones here who have shown the type of behavior that I would be happy to associate myself with. That being said, I do agree with jrrdw, but he didn't so much share his opinion as he did yell it at us.

The only thing I can see that would condemn wangpushups (who the hell calls themselves that?) is that both topic's posts include sentences that are capitalized, but the pronoun "I" is not. To me this seems like an odd combination, but that is just my intuition, I have no training in writing analysis.
