Since the topic came up, I am white.
I'm mostly English:(scotch-irish, wales,england), German(almost half),some French (from Alsace Lorrain), and 1/4 Hungarian (grandmother).
My family's been in the US a long time.
I like the Hungarian because when they say "beat back the Hun" I really am part "Hun" It's funny because I love motorcycles too.

I have sandy blonde hair and brown eyes, one brother blonde/blue another with dark hair and brown eyes.
Ethnic diversity is supposed to be healthy in some ways.
BTW the Chinese are very "Homogenous" as are several other nations.
I was thinking rather than spending billions on defense they could just create a DNA virus and store it somewhere and let them know if they ever attack, whamo!!!
Maybe they have one already.

My dad is from the Philippines, and my mother is an irish, scottish mainard, whose mother (My grandmother) claimed came over on the second trip of the mayflower. Over all, I am one 16th chinese, 50% filipino, and the remaining percent is a melting pot of europe.

I am ethnic Chinese, from Singapore.
Lets just keep it that my ancestry can be traced back to Fujian province in China and that my ancestors migrated here long before the Communists came to China.
Well, there are 2 Singaporeans (i.e. Asians) on the site. They are flamerz14 and me. I'm not exactly sure what ethnicity flamerz14 is, but either way it still ends up under Asian under the poll categories......
As both were just stuck in exams, so we didn't really come online.....until now.

American white. Both my mother and father paternal sides can be traced to German immigrants in the early 1700's. Other bloodlines since are mostly English based. Yes, part of the early pioneer stock.

I'm Caucasian (if other people get fancy titles like 'African American' or 'Pacific Islander', why would I just call myself 'White'?). As for my ancestry, my last name is derived from the group of the 'Vandals' , which as some of you may know was an East Germanic tribe.
My later ancestors were German and Italian, on both respective sides.
