i think it would be better if we could put all our damage pictures and videos in one section so that they would be easier to find

You might aswell just put them in the thread when you showcase your cannon...

Could you imagine trying to sort and organise all damage pictures and videos in with the relevant cannon?
You'd just end up with what we already have. Except in a section entitled 'Damage Pictures & Videos'.

We used to have a section for videos, but no one used it.

This has been discussed before and consensus is that it's pretty pointless.

Not many people just want to see damage pictures, they want the gun as well. So it's pretty much posting your showcase topic twice.

Sorry but I don't think it'll fly.

Edit: Although we have had topics just for damage pictures and/or videos. They die out pretty quick though.

where would the point be to keep damage pics and gun specs ect. seperate...thats like saying: wouldnt it be better to have the CO2 in my coke in a bulk tank? I then cannot drink my coke or the co2 and gained nothing(ok bad example but you get me)

well, I cannot really see the point in a section devoted entirely to pictures of holes without launchers to go with them. I believe it would be mainly a pointless section.

How about just a stickied thread in General Spudgun Related?

The problem with putting your vids in your showcase thread is that you generally only make a showcase thread when you intro a new cannon. If you have a new ammo idea, or come up with some obscure or unique target to shoot with your old cannon, you either have to add new vids to an old thread, at which point new comments quickly bury them halfway through a thread, or you can throw them into one of the discussion forums, and they aren't really meant for sharing vids.

No one would use it much anyway. As I said in my previous post, we've had topics where people post videos and/or pictures, but rarely does anyone bother to checkout other peoples videos or pictures, they just use it for advertising their cannon.

If you have a new ammo idea, add it to the Ammo Ideas sticky in the Construction Materials/Ammo Discussion forum section. Me and the other mods don't mind if you kick up that topic if your post is reasonable.

If you add new pictures and/or video to your showcase topic, you are allowed to post (even double post if your post is the last in the topic) to kick up your own topic with an update saying "New pictures and/or Video".

Otherwise if you make a compilation video, instructional video or just a damn good video for your cannon you may make a topic for it in one of the Discussion sections. Hell, I made a topic for one of my videos the other day (Death of a DVD Player).

Edit: Though this doesn't mean you can have a crap quality, 15 second video, of you shooting a piece of wood and make a topic for it.
