So i've got some spudding bits i want to sell to the users from the UK and possibly Europe only, not to the US... so this wouldn't be affecting possible sales for the sponsors so would it be all right to advertise them on spudfiles?

Other people have recently sold things here, and it's most likely alright as long as it is not a similar or competing item to what our sponsor's sell. It may be a good idea to list what you plan on selling then somebody could clarify.

You can unless its a full cannon.
But things like valves, fuel meters or pipes n fittings, they are not illegal so why not?

ok i'm planning to sell

two complete QEV setups i.e. with pilot and fill:

-3/4" with blowgun, check valve, schrader and fittings
-1/2" with ball valve or blowgun and fitings etc.

then i've got 2 piezo sparkers the BBQ kind and some other fittings, a gauge and a slide valve.

and i ask because of the removal of the trading section, i just wanted clarification because i don't want to spend hours creating a thread and taking pics etc. if its just going to be locked.

It is appreciated if you take pics of the stuff you're selling along with a piece of paper with your name on it.

I would suggest creating a new topic with a clear defined title and perhaps a more organized first post+the pictures.

I have not fully decided what I plan on allowing and not allowing, as this has recently came up a few times now. I can tell you however, that all "no competition for the current sponsors" rules have been removed.
