Alright, I am PMed and emailed many of you that have contacted me about the contest recently.

There are only 10 DAYS LEFT to get your submissions to me!

If you are considering entering the penetration contest, please enter! I have a number of Innovative Design entries but not many Penetration entries!

You can send all pictures/plans/information to me via email to admin@spudfiles.com or via PM here on SpudFiles. Entry fees can be paid via Paypal to admin@spudfiles.com If you need other means of paying contest entry fees, then please PM me for more details.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, yes keeping the builders anonymous is going to be a task. I am asking people to upload their video to YouTube for ease, and from there I will handle all videos/pictures/information in order to try to keep the builders anonymous. I can't prevent someone from figuring it out either via their build style or the background in their pictures, but the majority of voters will not be able to identify the builder so I ask that if you discover the builder of any entries to please keep it to yourself.

The contest will be on the main page for quite some time, so even though the builders names won't be attached for the first 2 weeks, there will be a lot more time and views with the builders names attached.

If you have any questions please PM or email me! I receive notifications about those so I can reply to them quicker. If you asked a question in the past and never received an answer, please ask again!

THE END IS NEAR!

Do the submissions need to in before midnight of 8/31 or midnight 9/1?

When does public voting start?

Submissions will be accepted until 9/1 at 11:59pm Central time.

I hope to get public voting going by the weekend, depending on how fast all judges will judge.

I do have to bring up an issue however. I have had a number of awesome innovative design submissions, but the most power category has only had 1 fully completed entry. 2 different builders destroyed their creation in the process of trying to enter this category.

Question now is, shall we extend the Most Power competition, or declare a winner by default since they met all of the requirements? If that were to happen, a third place could be added to the Innovative contest (which may be useful  )

Well, I guess I will make an announcement now....

My wife is having my first baby probably this week, a girl... :D

I suppose the lord above has a sense of humor since I wanted a boy.
(and all my family is mostly males)....

But I am very excited and have been extremely busy preparing for all besides being stressed to the max up to now.

I will be a dad later in this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really can't believe it still.
It's a long story all we've been through to this point but it's kept me from being able to compete in the upcoming contest.
God bless all the contestants and may the best win!!!
Hope you fellas understand.

You should still hold out a little hope...my son was supposed to be a girl too...according to ultrasounds no less.

Well I'm not entering the power competition..so not up to me.

However if the innovation category were extended I *may* have my gun finished in time. Or maybe not. I cracked two more pistons and probably destroyed my barrel when the projectile shattered midway through(still need to see if it's salvageable). But I have no clue how long it will take me to get a working product.

I, too, think people have had plenty of time to do what they were going to do. Continue as planned and add a third place to the innovative launchers.
