SpudFiles went down for a bit yesterday because my host did some work, now today we discover the entire archive folder is empty!

I have contacted my host and we will see what they did. I have backups though don't worry

You must have one hell of a hard drive to have full back ups of 3 web sites. I'm sure after you made the full back up they became incremental? Over writes when and where it needs to (post edits)???

Nehh a post doesn't take that much bytes.
A big piece of text won't be more then a few kB.

Makes me wonder though... how big is spudfiles?

Whatever that number is I would appear to be responsible for 4.01% of it :D

SpudFiles alone is nearly 4.0 GBs worth of pictures, code, and database info (posts, users, all stats, etc). And that is all compressed size  I do keep many backups here at home (along with Theopia) as well does my host. I am restoring the files right now myself however, because I don't trust the host to do it for me correctly...

Thanks a bunch PCGUY, both for getting the archive back up and having the archive and the rest of this place to begin with!

Now to remember what thread I wanted to read...
