So is it getting about that time again?
It seems that recently there have been new some ideas dicussed (such as all the auto/semi-auto concepts that judgement arms has stirred up), and I imagine quite a few people are currently tinkering with fairly new concepts.

I know Pcguy probably doesn't have the money to finance a contest after his recent projects. To aid this, maybe we should all chip in $10 or something to help out.
There should be enough warm weather left for those of us that deal with the whole 4-seasons thing, so I'm asking;
is anyone else up for it?

Well, I say it'd be cool, but I can't build anything really. I'm in college and I have to buy books... 350 bucks worth of them. I have some plans running around in my head and I'd love to enter them into a contest, but I don't have the resources to actually build it.

But hey, I say go for it.

Someone might have something of interest that is pretty nifty and could offer it as a prize for a contest?

Haha, I say PCGuy offers his pretty car as a prize, lol. Perhaps all entrants could front an entry fee, and the prize could be those entry fees, minus PCGuy's costs.

This may seem way off topic, but has PCguy ever built a spudgun? Back on topic...ya, it sounds like a good idea to pool money in like that, but we should wait and have the contest later on in the year.

If I do get money to build something, doubtful as it is, later in the year is better for me, cause it hit 102 today at like 90 precent humidity with next to no wind and no cloud cover. I'm not building jack crap right now.

Heck, it's 7:40 and it's still 99 degrees.

I say go for it. I'd chip in some dough for the first prize. I haven't really participated that much in these contests ya'll keep holding. I won that first one we had last summer, but that was only because my cannon was one of the only ones entered in the combustion category. It'd be nice to have another shot at some honest competition.

You mean to tell me that I stated all this? Dang… hey can I have cookie?

Anywho, most contest do require an entrance fee, I for one wouldn’t be opposed to paying a $5-10u.s.d. entrance fee.

There are many half-baked ideas out there that could use a little push :)

It's now 9:15, and it's 92 degrees outside.
Nice to know I'm not the only person experiencing what Dante did :D
SC has been getting into the 120 degree heat index stuff for the past week and a half.Real temp is 99 so it isn't as bad as could be.Makes my job of farm work horrible and my spudguns have been delayed from not being able to even walk in the shop without passing out.Enough whining from me.

Yep, I'm all for another competition.I probably won't be in the country when it comes around. But hey, I'll get to make smart remarks without having my own cannon to get criticized.Sounds like a win win to me
I would like to see more semi autos this time around and maybe more than one mini.

Goathunter, you’re going to be out of the country, are you in the armed forces and goin’ down range or somethin’?

And Paaiyan, I wouldn’t mind seeing some of your theoretical designs.

Well, I have this really really good idea, but I'm having trouble figuring out how I wanna do the propane metering. If everythign I'm thinking works correctly, I could be looking at 1 round per second, maybe even quicker. But I HAVE to figure out the metering or the whole thing goes down the drain.
