wow, nice. Its really long though, is it hard to aim? Did you block the stock? Was the union loading really worth it? Whats with the coupler about 75% the way down the barrel? Like I said earlier, very cool.

thats pretty nice lookin!!!

im gonna go out and say you could have reduced pilot volume a wee little bit by getting rid of all those steel pipes, but otherwise, nice!!!

and try putting a burst disk between that union :D the extra power is great....... Like 3 layers of Aluminum Foil is all you need.

I think that the damage speaks for itself, very nice video too Spudblaster.
I want to see some marbles or similar tearing there way through something with this launcher. One question: what pressure were you using in the vid?
I assume it was the max 140psi?

very nice launcher you got there!

you should make a vid of something going through ply to see the strength of the shots.

I like the steel pipe to move the trigger to a more ergonomic location instead of the usual hose.

PS: is that snow, and is that pvc... be careful

Well, if I was told that I were to inspire anything, I wouldn't have quite expected to see this.

First things first, I love it, because as Nova says, the damage speaks for itself - that long barrel really gives it some power.
It's also a really attractive cannon. Although I tend to prefer metal cannons, sometimes nicely painted cannons made from PVC or ABS just manage to look nicer for reasons I can't comprehend.

Although that barrel gives it power, the sacrifice in that is the overall length - which I'm have to be picky about in my cannons, because I can't easily store anything over about 7' in length, but if you are lucky enough to have the space, then I suppose that's fine in your case.

If it's fun for you, that's the most important thing.
Most people know that paintballs bruise, but that's at 200 or 300 fps - when you get to over 900 fps, there's a whole different world at those speeds. Keep having fun.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

What I am curious about is how the paintballs maintain their shape and therefore accuracy at those velocities, let alone the integrity of the seam. Have you had much problem with them breaking or swerving at greater distances?

I second Solar's question: do your paintballs fly straight? I've got a slightly smaller gun (3/4" X 5' barrel, 150psi) and I have problems with the paintballs doing what looks like a barrel roll ~ 50-70ft out and then going off in a random direction.

Well, I have a less ideal system, 4' barrel, 300 psi, 0.799" bore (needs wadding)... and I have no damned idea.

At up to the 10 metres I normally fire at, the PBs seem to hit more or less where I aim.
If I try firing up and into the distance... I tell you, keeping track of a paintball doing nearly Mach 1 is impossible, your eyes just can't focus that fast.
