See if you can find some 6mm tube first instead of 6.5, the one I use is 6mm I/D 7mm O/D

I get mine from the local RC/hobby store, they stock brass and aluminum tubing in various sizes. The problem with purchasing in the US is that it might not be metric.

That's ok, I'll just bring a bb to test, and 6mm in inches is .23622, so like a .24" barrel would be good if I can sleeve it. If it cannot be sleeved inside 7.14 mm then I can't use it unless I build an entire new front.

Ok guys, I just came across these little 2 stage hand pumps, any experience with them? They have a high volume setting then a high pressure setting so I think they might fit my purpose, and they also have good reviews.

Thats what I've been putting in my tank for my bbmg and it seems to be working fine... but I've also been looking at these Lezyne hand pumps that are CNC machined and can get up to 160 psi for about 35-40 bucks.

Ugh, hand pumps.
Perhaps you could have a stirrup pump and a hand pump, preferentially using the stirrup pump, but using the hand-pump when you can't afford to set down.

Yeah but a stirrup pump is too big to carry around, otherwise I would just carry around my backpack and we wouldn't be having this conversation

in general, the higher a pump can reach, the less volume it moves per stroke.
Similarly, the higher the advertised pressure, the less force required to reach a given pressure below that.

I have a military bergan and loads of those D attachment points along the sides and on the straps. What I'm planning to do is lock the pump with 2 carabinas through the D attachment points and loops on the pump to the side of the bergan. I still havent completely finished my pump tho.. so it might just go in the ice axe attachment...Gun Freak wrote:Yeah but a stirrup pump is too big to carry around, otherwise I would just carry around my backpack and we wouldn't be having this conversation
Another thing you can do is use O rings instead of PTFE and take the pump apart for storage.
