Spuddin wrote:i really did not want to get involved in this thread because a couple mods do annoy me because of there "power trips". and i am not downgrading anybody because this is a great site and most mods do a great job keeping it clean. just wanted it to be known that when u chew out somebody for bumping old topics it really looks bad and might "run off" members that could greatly contribute to spudfiles. just saying maybe a mod or 2 needs to be modded sometimes yet im sure they are "hopefully".

How the hell are you able to read our PM's to members? In the first place unless you saw it before us, you should never have to see the bumped topic with the bumping post and you should never have to see a post by another member or a mod in that topic telling the bumping member off.

So how do you know what we say to these members via PM?
If you actually did know, you would know that we are quite nice as it's only a minor infraction and is a general misconception because it is usually allowed on most other forums.

[BTW, iisthemuffin there was no problem with your original inquiry. I feel you got some good feedback on the issue, and I am only locking the thread because some people are losing there heads. So yeah no problem, and keep on posting! Sorry.]
