Can you imagine an actual all women brewery :roll:

This telegraph article quotes a book claiming that they invented it - would be interesting to see some peer review - but it says it all in its conclusion:

But by the start of the late 18th century and the Industrial Revolution, new methods of making beer meant women's contribution slowly started to decline and be forgotten...
