@PCguy:
Are you gonna adjust the rep level to the actual reputation members have?
Based on how much they have contributed to SF in general perhaps..
I mean...I can't help grinning when I see certain values...

Maybe the old "spudbucks" can be translated to "rep" points?

Hey guys,

I realized the trouble right as this was posted, it was showing a topic that hasn't been approved yet (feel free to go tell them that they aren't getting specific plans just like that).

As far as the rep goes, yes still need to sit down and retroactively add.

Interesting... topics need admin/mod approval before publishing?

Will it be possible to donate to remove the sponsorship "posts" inside threads?

Sponsorship posts? If your talking about the ads on SpudFiles, that is what keeps this website running and they were there prior to the update as well. If your seeing any obtrusive ads/things that look out of place, perhaps provide a screenshot? Your computer may have malware putting ads onto pages (we've had it happen to other members complaining about the ads, turns out they were infected).

Those are the ones. Nothing particularly obtrusive but I'd prefer just to send a few coins across personally :)

mark.f wrote:Searching with the results displayed as topics in ascending chronological order... the easiest way to find all my posts.

However, when I go to the next page of results, it resets to displaying results as individual posts in descending chronological order.

Just like to note that this bug still seems to be here. Looks like the 'Next page' links near the bottom aren't being generated with all the search parameters set.

Have a look at an example search URL for BTB's posts:
search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=brian+the+brain&fid[]=39&sc=1&sf=all&sr=topics&sk=a&sd=a&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

...when the user goes to the next page of results, it will be cut down to this:
search.php?author=brian+the+brain&fid%5B%5D=39&start=25

Seems the reply form really doesn't like those brackets right after &fid, but you get the idea.

For the past few days, when I click on the 'Newest Posts' button, I get this error;

"Sorry but you cannot use search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes."

If I'm feeling lazy, this tends to be enough for me to drift off to the next website on my daily rounds. Can't say how many people I could speak for though.

*edit - seems to be for any search function
