Re: Facebook page ?
It had one, not probably official one but anyway.. I remember it was quite dead and probably that way it's removed or something.

Re: Fueling a very high mix hybrid
Thank you for your input, I will consider it especially for the barrel side, should give me more clamping force on the burst disk Exactly, it's easier to tighten them because you don't need so much torque to get them tight. For the other thing.. yes that, and I think all the "smart" systems like ar...

Re: Fueling a very high mix hybrid
Double post so someone may look. Is it just me or have the forum lost alot of activity over the last years? If so, does anyone have a good explanation as to why? It's a shame.. I am now done drawing the plans, and would like to share the chamber design for your input. I am thankful for any improvem...

No reason why it wouldn't work, just make sure you get the pressure to safe level with the reg.

Re: Valve flow coefficient question.
I think CV/efficiency is about the outlet orifice size of the valve so you should know the exact inside diameter of QEV port to calculate the efficiency of the valve from the CV value ? Not sure what you mean by "GGDT that translates to 132% efficient" but clearly some input is wrong.. But still.. I...

Re: Valve flow coefficient question.
Are you asking this for GGDT inputs? GGDT User guide says it like this: "Valve -> Flow Coefficient Typically, valve performance is specified by a valve manufacturer in one of two ways: (1) by Cv or (2) by Kv. GGDT allows for either of these methods and a third; efficiency. Which method is used is de...

O2 + C3H8 timed fueling
Hi ! I need help.. for fueling.. I have been designing fueling system for 5:1 oxy-propane mix and I'm having some trouble finding a way to get correct mixture. I was thinking of using two timed solenoid valves in tandem with a chocked orifice plates after valves. Orifice plates would be sized to hav...

Re: need help ??????
ball valve is the problem here, it's too slow. Piston valve or large QEV would be best, but large modified sprinker valve would work too. (modified we mean that it's modified to air (pilot) operated).

Re: Teflon lined barrel
Unfilled teflon (ptfe) wears quite fast and is pretty soft, making it not suitable for barrel.. better way would be teflon sabot or sleeve on the projectile. I don't think barrel friction makes lot difference unless it's very high friction or if the barrel and projectile is galling or projectile jam...

Better way is finding empty co2 bottle, used paintball tanks or sodastream bottles are very cheap.

hydraulic valve help !
I'm working with system that would need a FAST reciprocating hydraulic cylinder. Valve would need to work with no electrical power .. only way to make it is to use pilot operated valves.. I think  We actually have a cylinder that can run fast and we need it to go 600 strokes / min. BUT.. most v...
