Thanks for the advice JSR! I have been looking for an "accumulator" for awhile now because the compressor had problems starting up between shots. Today I realized it wasn't getting hot it just has trouble starting when there is pressure in the output! I had a 25' hose on the end of it before that wo...

Oh my god! Was that a member on here's tank? That looks gnarly! My free compressor is dead,, the motor still works but the rest of it has gone to hell. Air intake was almost plugged w/ dirt. I have a couple other compressors that I could hook up the the intake! I will do that soon. :) And no...

I ordered that hose and got it in the mail yesterday- perfect for what I need! Thanks JSR!! :) I got an old air compressor for the tank yesterday also- but I'm not sure how it will work. It is a little too big at 8 gallons and I don't know if I feel safe putting 500psi in it. That and it will take a...

Thanks guys! I never thought batteries could be so deadly! I'll be more careful with the shrapnel! JSR thanks for the explanation. The situation is similar for e-bikes now that I think about it. I'll look around and find some lighter ammo! Side note 1, I am looking for a .22 barrel. I might take a t...

I got a video up! :) And some questions.. I was playing with GGDT, and upping the pressure really doesn't up the velocity quite as much as I had hoped.. I get about 425fps at 400psi. I think I am getting about 350fps at 250psi. What can I do to get my velocity up? Is it all in the valve size? And if...

1" Full Metal Piston Cannon - WIP (pic heavy)
I have spent the last few weeks building and troubleshooting my new cannon. It is a full metal pneumatic with a 1" tee housing the piston made from a bolt and rubber washers. It has a 1/2" copper barrel and shoots AA batteries and shotgun shot, amongst other things. Backing up a bit, here's a pictur...

Sounds good guys thanks! I knew there was at least something I could do.. And I didn't get an email for responses to this I'll have to fix that... Also I want to point out that, compared to others, this forum is setup very well and information is very easy to find, especially with the wiki!! Mods an...

Searching for threads started by a particular user
IMO, the search engine on this forum is severely lacking. Maybe I just don't see it, but it lacks the ability to find threads started by a particular user! It's really annoying not being able to find other member's builds when you're trying to design a gun. The Spudfiles search is missing the option...

Update! $35 bought me a husky regulator, mr heater propane adapter, and suitable hose with a couple of pipe clamps to boot. I am very happy with my setup now. There were no leaks with the new pipe and clamps. I didn't even need overtighten and ruin the new pipe clamps! :) Some things are showing the...

Are you saying that it would be simpler to have a separate switch for the fan? Or are you saying the way I soldered it all together inside the gun is too complex? The second one is probably true, but I think this is about as simple as you can get when operating the gun. If you had a timed circut for...

How To Run and Control Your Fan Off of Your Stun Gun
A normal stun gun is boring. I have my stun gun so that it not only makes a spark, but it also controls my fan with a switch and fires with a separate trigger. The fan is controlled by the 3-position switch. The switch has an off, spark on, and spark & fan on. To do this, to my knowledge, you need a...

I took it out for the first time this year. I had no misfires due to incorrect propane mixture, altough one shot was weak. I had a few problems with my taser sparking across the default gap. I am going to re-solder all my wires back on with my new, more powerful iron. I am going to sand all of my co...
