Amps are pulled from a power source, it's not like they're shoved into the circuit or anything. Are you sure you don't mean volts?

There are many links on this website for making pre-loaded shells. We are not going to search them for you, because then, you'll never learn how to use the search function and would have to ask us for every single thing.

Everybody else uses the search, please do so yourself.

Seems to light really slow, that's why I'm asking.
8.4v, 32ga. I dunno if it was totally charged at the time, but I got some thicker stuff (21ga i think) and a new power supply, so I think I'll do another test soon/tomorrow.

I maybe found something ... I could try to make grooves on the 4 aluminium surfaces wich are in contact and fill those grooves with epoxy. Good idea, that would give it much better mechanical strength. Also go to a hardware store and get some new epoxy...make sure the packaging specifically says it...

Crazy Glue (Cyanoacrylate adhesive) is just a thin layer of acrylic AKA plastic. It can not withstand most any kind of torque, and its main redeeming characteristic is that it can hold 2 pieces together. To do this effectively it needs to 'grab' the material by soaking into it. It will not soak into...

Go for it then. Still, i suspect that drawing enough power from a 9V battery to get a piece of wire to go incandescent is going to kill the battery pretty darn quick. I would suspect the battery to go dead within tens of seconds. Figure each firing is at least a second or two of power and ... Yes, ...

PVC is a thermoplastic, meaning that under the correct conditions it can be heated and molded without releasing any chemicals/carcinogens. No doubt, but the keywords here are under the correct conditions ;) Yeah, but it's not necessarily hard to do. Using a heat gun (NOT a blow dryer) or sticking i...

I've never worked personally with a lathe but I hope I can help. Print out a picture of the graph on regular paper, and then transfer it to some slightly thick sheet metal ( 1/4" ) and cut out the shape. Mount that onto the tool rest of your lathe and then (making sure it's parallel to the material ...

The formula I use for "actual PSI output" has always been:

2 x (advertised PSI) / ($) .

Obviously this rule doesn't work for compressors above $100 but in this case 38 psi might not be such a bad bet...
