Thats what I thought of doing at first but I heard that weakens the end cap pretty badly and has caused the back end to explode. So would that be any less safe than putting it through the side?

That makes sense. Id kinda like to keep it looking like one pipe tho so ill just cut a small section from a piece of pipe and epoxy it on to make a double layer under the sparker

well im making a compact paintball shotgun as a backup weapon out of a single pipe so there wont be a double layer.

And I thought spray n pray was when u used random chemicals from aerosol cans, but I guess not

Well ive heard some starter fluid contains oil, and if thats getting on the screws a wire brush wont really get it off. Try wiping them with a cloth

Its not really spray n pray, I use atomized alcohol as fuel and its been 100% consistent so far as well as having a lot of power. So drilling holes in the chamber is pretty worrying

Question about Sparker placement

Is it safe to drill a hole for the BBQ clicker to go inside the chamber if certain precautions were taken? For example using tons of superglue on each side of the hole, then surrounding it with foam such as Great Stuff on the inside? Normally I would just have it on the outside but I need to make a ...
