You might try Mcmaster-Carr. They generally have a very large selection of things.

Just don't come back with a few illegitimate kids, as the old Governator did.... Strip the valve down to what you need to make it work. Piston: Needs to be cylindrical and have a perfectly square sealing face. Ideally light weight, and must be able to withstand impact. Piston housing: Needs to allow...

If you have a drill press, you can make a piston housing.

He's talking about a piston housing that is fully contained in the Tee itself without any fittings to lengthen it.

Maybe you could do one in 4"? Then make a semi auto beer can loader This would be a force of nature with a semi auto loading mechanism. Definitely a little expensive for the solid material, but worth it for the wow factor. You wouldn't even have to go to such a scale as to fire cans. If you make a ...

Master plumbers use the pipe for different reasons than your average spudder. It's already technically unsafe to use PVC at all for air pressure systems, so to lower your safety standards by using DWV parts is just asking for trouble.

Nice work! All I would add is some sort of foregrip under your chamber to really make it ergonomic.

Looks like you have two seperate bolts for loading and arming your hammer. It would be really great if your hammer arming bolt could slide back, arm the hammer, and also open the bolt.

You could probably half that chamber and still see no performance drop. Still looks very nice, and I like how you set up your blowgun. You might as well continue the 1" PVC to the end of the blowgun barrel. At first glance I thought it was a harpoon gun

Don't expect to put any mechanical stress whatsoever on the finished vortex block if made from clay. Reinforcing the vortex hole will reduce long term wear, but also make sure to secure your inlet and outlet pipes to something very solid so that they cannot shift around and crack your block.

Generally it's roughly around $7 as long as they can fit it into a box. Materials longer than 4-5 feet are shipped in a packing tube and that tacks on ~$9.

I live a bit more south, but I still will get packages from their Jersey warehouse the next day.

Beautiful pistol. It definitely packs a punch based on the result of mixing it with a frying pan.

Spring operated ball valves have a sort of "flintlock" appeal. Combine the aesthetics of BTB's Old Shatterhand with your pistol and I'd have to give you a 10 out of 5.

Looks much MUCH better than the first version! Very compact and slick. Any thoughts on making this belt fed? It could be nice depending on how many shots your tank is giving you.

If you're looking for a midi lathe, I would suggest Delta. For a precision machining lathe, go with Sherline. There are several people who have built lathes using a power drill and a home made tail stock attachment. It doesn't look too terribly difficult, but it doesn't look like a viable option as ...

Some people on here have made pistons sensitive enough to be piloted by a shraeder valve. Blowguns are very doable. It helps if you have a lathe or drill press to make your piston. I would suggest using a couple o-rings and a built in check valve in your piston. Edit: JSR beat me to it by a measly s...
