Thanks. I read an article (from your website) discussing various mods to sprk valves. I wanted to find which mods are done on "modded" guns. I would rather just buy one and see it before I attempt doing it myself. But are you saying that you only run a single line from a blowgun to just drop the pre...

Has anyone tried the larger commercial sprinkler guns with 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 inch bores? Would the increased size result in both faster activation as well as more cu.ft./sec flow? They are also rated much higher in psi! Also, Spudtech's "modded" sprinkler valves...how far have they taken them and how...

The valve to fire is 1", the blowgun is only to fill the chamber. NO leaks, etc. But, the problem was the mini power supply rated for 19 volts evidently didn't have enough amps to run the solenoid properly. I went to a 21 volt battery box and it all worked fine. But, like the guy above, it shoots we...

Well, the problem WAS the power source. Whether it didn't have enough amps (mfgs and others say that it will work on lower than 18v). But when I made a 21 volt battery pack, it all worked great! Yes, I will experiment with the pneumatic actuation, but being able to mount a push button anywhere remot...

Thanks. I have a meter on the chamber (and safety valve). I can hold it at a steady 80 psi till launching. I DO use the stock electric solenoid for convenience knowing I will suffer "some" degregation in performance. It apears [like you said] that the air is not dumping fast enough and needs the "bu...

I am new to pneumatic (old cumbustion gunner). I tried using a standard off the shelf Orbit in line 1" sprinkler valve. Have tried a 1:1 and 2:1 chamber to barrel ratio. Unless I tape the end of the barrel with masking tape which works kinda like a burst disk, I get very little performance (bang/eje...
