nicely built and good stock,however the seam inside the 3/4" pipe make's slower open time specially with that pilot valve. what i suggest is ,put 3/4 coupling then put 3/4" BRASS nipple and drag the barrel to the start of the brass nipple and done. you have smooth bore that you can make a good round...

Remember that you must be careful when grinding the HSS bit. If it starts to discolor, it is too hot. Do you mean a facemill? HSS is made for high speed and higher temperature applications. Better than a file at least.
