nicely built and good stock, however the seam inside the 3/4" pipe make's slower open time specially with that pilot valve. what i suggest is ,put 3/4 coupling then put 3/4" BRASS nipple and drag the barrel to the start of the brass nipple and done. you have smooth bore that you can make a good round...

Remember that you must be careful when grinding the HSS bit. If it starts to discolor, it is too hot. If it gets to about blue, you have drawn the temper and it needs to be rehardened, which cannot really be done at home. thank you for that information   that the cause when the workpiec...

Do you mean a facemill? HSS is made for high speed and higher temperature applications. Better than a file at least. Ideally carbide or PCBN is a much better choice Head cutter for rifling machine ,so there little amount of heat I know that carbide is the better one but because the small cutter and...

if you can do this ,then you can also build hpa pump.

take a look here for that hpa pump ,simple (if you have at least a lathe) and efficient

yes you can , but you will need thousand of strokes to get 100cc up to 1000 psi, thats if the pump had tiny dead space before the check valve ,
that pump did not have it because its used for liquid's !!!
