Oh CRAP then! I just built my gun with dual spark gaps and NO chamber fan. What it does have is a great ventillation fan behind a ball valve. The reason I didn't add a chamber fan was because the materials I had at hand (ABS) and common fittings, there was no way to install a chamber fan and allow i...

Installed new regulator and it works fairly well. MUCH better of course than the freakin flow valve did lol. The pressure fluctuates slightly, sometimes about 10 PSI, but generally seems to hold a fairly stable, or at least stable enough pressure for the propane injection. I did some test firing in ...

Stating the obvious, you are sure it's a pressure regulator, not a flow regulator right? Because a flow reg won't be any use for this. Meter problem? Use feet! That would be met RE , ignore these Americans who don't know how to spell properly. ;) I mean, they think colourise has no U in it, and sho...

The regulator has a little brass knurled knob that you turn to supposedly regulate the PSI, Yeah I haven't had any luck at all with the little brass regulators either...quote] OK great. At least I can sort of conclude that they are cheap and just don't work that well. I think i'll try another as we...

I have my gun built. I dry fired it a couple times, but the only way to regulate how much PSI goes into the meter pipe is by turning off the propane tank itself, because the regulator is crap, or I doin't know how to use it, or both. The regulator has a little brass knurled knob that you turn to sup...

Would you buy it
I am a mechanical designer with manufacturing connections. I run a design business, http://www.radraftinganddesign.com. I have an idea to design and sell a really nice aluminum combustion spud gun with interchangeable barrels. I can see many of you are very capable of making your own awesome cannons...

Why not indeed. I will use dual source ignition and as stated this design will have no chamber fan. Dual source ignition couldn't hurt performance. The shame is, as you mentioned, I won't know the difference without 2 identical setups, one with single ignition, the other with dual ignition, and a ch...

Dual ignition & chamber fan...do they help?
Building my first propane spud demon here, and I was just wondering if dual ignition (which I planned for) and chamber fan (which I didn't plan for) relaly help. Here is my guess...I would guess that a chamber fan would only shorten the time needed to allow for complete fuel/air mixing. Without a ch...

It is ABS pipe. I just fixed it. I isolated the spark wires with plastic tubing and it works perfect now. I am suffering from noobism a little. First time building an "advanced" or a real spud gun. So I did some things a little backwards and experienced dfficulty as a result. For instance, I complet...

Spark not jumping gap
I have my cumbustion gun under construction and I am working on the spark gap with a stun gun. I had the screws through the combustion chamber and the spark was not jumping the gap, instead it was flowing through the chamber walls! It seems the inside of the chamber is electrically conductive, diver...

Automotive wire/stun gun
I have a 150,000 stun gun and am getting ready to wire it up...I got some 12ga automotive wire from an autoshop. It has a single layer of plastic as its insulation. Is this type of wire adequate? I've read that its best to use stuff from a flyback in an old TV...I don't have an old TV to rip apart. ...
