try using the search tool, because there are many different ways you can do this. The sleeving you mentioned should work, but there are more "gun like" options you may want to try.

many junk yards will let you have the fridge compressor for real cheap because they scrap everything anyways. i payed 5$ for my pump

If you check a any place like auto-zone, they sell grease gun line, which is really flexible and it is rated up to 3000 p.s.i The connections on it are 1/8"
