way overpriced but great design i like the fan idea and i think if it was a lower price than i might consiter buying it but i would also like to know what materiles were used in this gun. Composed of 32 machined parts, 26 are unique. Most are made of T6061 Aluminum, some stainless and the rest PVC....

Moonbogg, I gotta think you did not constrain the PTFE well enough. The stuff is close to inert and will withstand a lot of pressure but it has very poor mechanical strength. I often see it in square cut or o ring form placed in a tight groove, the lip of the vessel then entraps the seal in the groo...

I am USGF ...

Looks great. Could be more camo with This stuff maybe. Or powder coat or black annodized. TL, Mike sent out quite a few for black anodizing. They were done up with bright dip so they are rather shiny. On the next batch, I would opt for a mat black, sand blasted black or powder coated satin black. W...

Wow amazing dude! That is some massive recoil and like people said they seem to be very stable in flight! I've seen other advanced spudgun videos on youtube and many of them had trouble going threw a tv screen at POINT BLANK... you did it at like 20 yards? :P HOLY nice job man... You made a beast o...

how many shots do you think the center drilled pucks will last It will depend on the target. Using carpet or wood as a backstop I think you could re-use all day. Usually the failure point is the tail. Any plans for additional bore sizes?? Yes. The 1.7 was nice because no modification to tail needed...

Update, the 2-1/2 UHMWHDPE round stock is too big to fit 2-1/2 inch SDR21 160 PSI PVC Pipe. I just tried it. This does mean it is big enough to machine down to test rounds that fit like a glove. :D Tech, our large 21" lathe has a 3.5 inch through bore. That material will go through and be machined ...

Do you think you could make a round for a 2 1/2 SDR sch 21 barrel? SNIP I measured the can and it came out to be a little over 65mm and Wikipedia agreed. I don't know the exact diameter since I was just using 2x4s and a plastic ruler, so it might have a larger diameter than the 2.5 inch stock you h...

Groove deep enough? check! Many calipers won't measure large diameters because the opening throat isn't deep enough. Digital with a pair of machinists calipers are a winning combination. Also, remember to use the depth measuring feature of a digital caliper to simply measure the depth. Once you hav...

The 4 inch piston on the previous page has an excellent o ring and groove. Awsome job on that 4 inch 3 inch porting monster. :salute: Tech, Thanks. We did relax the ID of the groove so the piston moves very freely. We use gland specs such as these. http://www.engineersedge.com/general_engineering/o...

I made a 3" port, 4" piston for Grock the other day. One of many possibilities.
