I already had the ball valve so it didn't cost me anything I do launch the highlighter marker tube, but it splits right after launch and only goes about 5 feet, besides all the games I play are unofficial. The barrel has a male threaded adapter so I can use any size barrel I want. I will start tryin...

The valve is a brass ball valve with a fancy spring set up that my grandpa showed me to make it release fast because i didnt want to spend the money on a sprinkler valve. As for the bbs, i cut an old highlighter marker tube in half and i pour the bbs into that and then wrap a rag around it to make i...

Airsoft Mortar

So I've been working on an airsoft mortar and i have run into some noob problems. The first model i made had a 12' long section of 1" pvc for the air chamber with a 24" long barrel (also 1" pvc.) It didn't shoot very far with about 60 pounds and I decided that my problem was the air chamber was smal...

So here are the choices 1. Evil Detonator Paintball Regulator 2. Central Pneumatic Professional Compresse...

1 Quick BBMG Question

I was looking around and I found a post on this
topic that said
Co2 is a no no with pvc. Remake it with copper then you can use co2
I was just wondering if this is true.

Thanks,

Thats awesome roboman! Thanks for that. Luckily I have a Harbor-Freight near my house. That will work perfect

I can't imagine what its gonna do to targets with ammo. :D Just wondering... what are you gonna use this for? Because it would be great in airsoft with a more portable air supply setup. And when you build the blowforward bolt for good ammo reloading.

I used a filler similar to Bondo for mine. I used a short piece of the same diameter pipe as my vortex chamber for the mold and cut it down to size. It works great. I roughly followed the instructions here --> http://www.burntlatke.com/bb.html http://i573.photobucket.com/albums/ss173/jwilson77/IMG_1...

Would quality really matter in a 5/16" barrel? I'm pretty sure there is plenty of "wiggle room." Of coarse i wouldn't want lumps of plastic that slightly resemble bb's but maybe some seams, some burrs won't really matter?
