Hello again two years later... I kind of put this gun in the hall closet and forgot about it. Other hobbies took over (paintball, disc golf and that curse called WoW). But I resurrected it a few months back and started tinkering with it again. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonyknaak/56846738...

I admire your skills to keep improving this design. It's pretty amazing to see how far you have taking it such a short time. The MKI photos on page one to this brass block is a huge jump in engineering.

Just curious, where did you purchase the solid brass?

So is the t - joint going to be angled to the side for the mag mounting? In the initial photographs and in the video the T faces upward. I saw in the additional photos that the T was turned to the side. The only I ask is because I assume the mag would block the holo sight. So the air cylinder on the...

Well, That looks like a fun one to shoot! I bet the convienence of co2 portability is awesome. I had a blast shooting it for the first time! The CO2 fills up the chamber in about 2 seconds as apposed to 5 minutes with my bike pump on my first one. Less down time and more shooting! Nice to see such ...

You gun is an exceptional example of Industrial Revolution and Steam Punk design. Did you have any inspirations for you gun that you can share? All of my upcoming gun designs were planned with Steam Punk in mind, as well as heavy influence from the Weta Workshop's famous "Dr. Grordtbort's" gun serie...

Please take Gippeto's advice and remove the teflon tape when you go into final assembly, I don't believe it is that reliable. I would recommend using the Loctite Black Max since it rated by Loctite as their strongest. Here is a link to a pdf brochure about Loctite products so you can compare adhesiv...

You are a great inspiration, thanks for sharing your guns!

I wish I had the resources and ingenuity to create a gun with that much craftsmanship.

Initial construction

Greetings, spudders. I just finished my initial construction on my second pneumatic cannon. I test fired it approximately 30 times to make sure there were no leaks and it would perform decently. I took a few photographs and video clips of the test. I have to add some more aesthetics and paint to fin...

I am very impressed. The extra work you put into the stock is impressive.

Do you plan on finishing it? By finish I mean stain, clear coat, or paint the wood.

Dry Ice as alternative fuel?

I have made my fair share of "dry ice bombs" but I was wondering if anyone has tested it as an alternative air pressure source in a pneumatic gun? If you have an all metal pressure chamber, some sort of sealing hatch to add the dry ice and the water, and a pressure limiting pop-off valve to ensure a...

Where did you acquire that spring? I have been searching for a compression spring approximately 12 inches long that will fit over a 1 inch SCH 40 and inside a 1.5" SCH 40.
