I wouldn't trust a DWV cleanout cap on an advanced combustion. There was a news story of one flying off and hitting a man in the chest, stopping his heart and killing him. Now come on, Crowley. Plenty of noob spudders used DWV caps on their first advanced guns so lets not scare this one out of a go...

You definitely need more than one spark gap for that chamber. Mike from UltimateSpudgun has a theory that I want to experiment with. He claims it works on larger spudguns (like this one and our ME1-05H). Put the spark gap at the very back. This will cause two pressure waves, right? Right. as the pr...

Because if the epoxy hardened, the ball would not go down the pipe ¹. You could let the epoxy set up inside of a scrap piece of 2-1/2" pipe, but the oval shape of it (inside the ball) could make the ball more likely to travel in an erratic path, once it left the barrel. ¹ A standard tennis ball is ...

Niiiice. I'm a fan of combustion guns, not that I have a problem with pneumatic's though. You have a good looking gun, and I like the chamber vent through the front grip. As far as the heaviness goes, have you thought about using pvc for the meter pipe? That would lighten things up considerably. Or ...

I'm going with the ball valve for reasons already stated. Maybe you could rig some sort of torsion spring and latch to open the valve even faster than you could. Good luck with the build.

I can honestly say, I've never seen lacrosse balls being used in a spudgun. I've played lacrosse before and been hit by the ball. it sucks, so I can only imagine what damage it would do out of a spudgun. Good luck with your build. DR spoke of injecting a tennis ball with water. Why not inject it wit...

Your steel wool burning will be a problem later down the line (it will eventually melt the plastic). Instead of using steel wool, use metal window screen. This will work fine if you roll it around the suppressor core. I've made multiple suppressors this way with great results. Fantastic looking gun....

You should be fine with the male endcap. Just make sure all your fittings are cemented well enough and you'll be OK.

Will do. How will you be gearing the trigger/valve assembly? Rather, what materials will you be using to gear the assembly.

I like it. Very simple, very effective design. Nicely done, Wet one. You could probably take that thing up to 200 P.S.I. easy.
