Nice job! Not sure what kind of "grinding, cutting and tapping" you did on your propane bottle adapter...all you should have to do is unscrew the crooked torch pipe out of the valve adapter housing. It's locked in pretty good with an epoxy of some sort but it can be broken loose with some big pipe ...

Yes it was properly glued. The black and shiny stuff is abs primer and the yellow one is abs cement
