There was a different one where the gun automatically aimed at anyone in its field of view and fired at them. I'll see if I can find some footage. It would be so cool to have enough skill to make this sorta stuff. Image a computer controlled Marble MG.

Unless the ABS is pressure rated to 830psi, which it isn't, then this is possibly one of the dumbest things I've heard. The ABS would rupture and would have a lot of energy, meaning that you wouldn't want to be anywhere near it when it went off. I dont think anyone has been stupid enough too try thi...

You can work out the pressure of propane inside your chamber using this table.

Around here it is probably averaging 20oC this time of year do I am getting around 110psi.
I'll put up a thread this weekend on the propane setup.

Thanks man. You can use a chisel or router to make the channel for the barrel. Good luck.

Furniture is easy to make, you will need: -Some nice wood -A jigsaw -Lots of sandpaper, coarse to smooth -A rasp or auto-plane Trace a template onto your wood and then cut it out with the jigsaw, then using the rasp and sandpaper create the contours. To make the barrel go through the stock just make...

You can make furniture out of PVC but wood is probably a better option, it will look more realistic and better.

Doesn't look like it, the stock comes to far forward on the barrel in the video for it to be MAS-49's. EDIT- They could be MAS 49's, I was looking at the MAS 49/56. However depending on when in the war this scene is set as the war started in 1946, before the MAS 49 had been developed. If the scene i...

Ultimate Aussie Plinker

It may look small but this cannon packs a punch. I designed it to ba be a nice, quiet plinker. The chamber is extremely small and that means that it only takes two pumps from my big bike pump and around six from my small pump to get it to a decent pressure, even though I mostly use my propane pneuma...

The pistol will either be a Mle. 1935 or a Mle. 1950. The rifles used by the French are probably MAS 36's.

Thats just like what I want to make except I am going to use a much smaller chamber so that less propane is released each shot and I'll be moving around so it should disperse pretty quickly and not build up in one area.

I would only use a very small chamber, not more than 15cm x 20mm so not much propane would be released.

Propane Pneumatic

I went paintballing and now I'm addicted. I want to make my own marker and I have two ideas, either a combustion like the Tippmann C-3 or a little design of my own. I found a nifty little chart on the vapour pressure of propane and at the temperatures we get here it wouldn't go below 100 psi in the ...

Yes, but finding that something is the hard part. You need to use either resins and hardeners which are very expensive. Or I think there is a method where you make a sort of paste out of small strips of fibreglass and hardener.

Wood is your best bet unless you have access to plastic moulding equipment.
You just need a rasp, chisels and alot of sandpaper (Iused 120grit through to 600)

Here is the stock I made for my comp gun.
