You will get more power with the QEV. You can pilot it with the valve you first linked to also. BTW that is a 3 way/3 port/2 position valve. Not 2 way. What's this have to do with your hammer valve? Hmm the problem I currently have is that I live in the uk and dont have anywhere close by to get any metal or anything or else I would make one from steel. If I can find some steel of like 5mm thick I will use that instead of the pewter idea and use my dremmel roto tool to cut and shape it .
